We know that keeping the forest standing also means preserving the health of our global ecosystem. For this reason, we are committed to protecting forests and promoting sustainable land use. Therefore, in the “Forests and Land Use” program, we support public and private actions to conserve forests, reforestation, and combat burning and illegal fires, considering the co-benefits in health.
It aims to encourage the work of a coalition of public managers, researchers, and civil society organizations on monitoring air quality in the Amazon region.

We held the first air quality defense meeting in the Amazon in partnership with the Ministry of the Environment.

The first network of institutions involved in air monitoring in the Amazon using low-cost technologies was launched.
