The study focuses on an innovative initiative and its trajectory, providing a detailed description of the arrangements that led to its successful implementation. The key highlight of the initiative is the partnership established between different institutions, including the university, the Public Prosecutors Office, and the state government, to create a local air quality monitoring network. This network was made possible through financial, technical, and scientific investment in low-cost equipment. As a result, all municipalities in Acre now have at least one sensor that transmits real-time air quality data accessible to everyone.
