The climate crisis is a public health emergency, and doctors have a key role to play in understanding and addressing it.
The Doctors for Climate Movement exists to mobilize the medical community, generate knowledge, and transform that awareness into action. Our mission is to ensure that health is at the center of climate discussions, influencing public policy and protecting lives.
How we operate:
Engagement and mobilization actions
Communication campaigns, impact actions, events, and activities to raise awareness about health and climate.
Science actions
We support and develop research, technical training, and publications that broaden understanding of the impacts of climate change on health.
Advocacy and citizen participation actions
Strengthening and medical participation in democratic spaces and in the defense of public policies to ensure health protection in the face of the climate crisis.
